LDV targets fleet buyers as South African sales grow
LDV is trying to win fleet customers who buy several vehicles, rather than relying on brand-loyal bakkie buyers.
The company says it sold more vehicles in the first half of 2026 than in all of 2025, but gave no sales totals.
Its South African range is currently diesel-only, while electric double cabs are being prepared for testing.
Electric vehicles could suit fleets that travel set routes each day, where they may not need the biggest batteries or longest range.
