Seattle Band Spiral XP Shares New Song “Faith Electric”
Spiral XP, a rock band from Seattle, has shared a new song called “Faith Electric.”
The song will appear on the band’s upcoming EP, Blue Earth, which is due October 16 on Danger Collective.
The music keeps largely to the same beat and riff throughout, but the band says it is divided into two parts.
In the first half, Max sings about themes of cult worship and blind faith.
In the second, Lena’s warmer, dreamier vocals shift the song toward dreams and half-sleep.
The band says it aimed to combine noisy rock inspired by Th’ Faith Healers with dreamy trip-hop inspired by Bowery Electric.
The EP’s release is the next step for the song and the band’s new music.
