Hyundai reveals larger Bayon SUV, planned for Brazilian production in 2027
Hyundai has unveiled a redesigned Bayon SUV at the 2026 Paris Motor Show.
The model is based on the i20 hatchback and is planned for production in Brazil from 2027.
Hyundai says it will sit between the i20 and the larger Creta, competing with models including the VW Tera, Jeep Avenger and Chevrolet Sonic.
The new Bayon is bigger than the previous version, with more space for luggage.
Its exterior has a taller, more rugged look, while much of the cabin is shared with the i20.
Hyundai has also announced a full-hybrid version with 138 horsepower, though details of the Brazilian versions have not been confirmed.
