RAG Foundation stays neutral as BASF pursues Evonik takeover
BASF wants to buy Evonik, but Evonik’s board has rejected an offer worth about €10 billion.
The RAG Foundation owns 44% of Evonik and has not taken a side.
It says the two companies should negotiate directly.
