Magnitude 2.2 microsismo shakes Mexico City’s Tlalpan district
A small, shallow earthquake shook Tlalpan, in Mexico City.
Officials said they had received no reports of damage.
These local quakes, known as microsismos, usually last only one or two seconds.
Because they are so brief, the city’s earthquake alert system cannot warn people in time.
