Seol In Ah trains for undercover role in new romance thriller
Seol In Ah stars in tvN’s upcoming series “Love in Disguise.”
It is a romance thriller about a chaebol heir who becomes a murder suspect and a former special forces officer who investigates him undercover.
Seol In Ah plays Kang Jae Hee, a detective with a strong sense of justice and a special forces background.
Jae Hee disguises herself as a man to get a job as an executive assistant and gather evidence against Yoon Yi Jun, played by Yim Si Wan.
To prepare, Seol In Ah focused on how Jae Hee would behave while disguised, rather than simply trying to act like a man.
She trained in action and physical conditioning, and studied details such as posture, walking and how trained professionals scan their surroundings.
These preparations are intended to make the undercover character’s movements feel realistic.
The series is scheduled to premiere on October 19 at 8:50 p.m.
KST.
