GSFC seeks partner for green ammonia plant in Gujarat

GSFC wants to build a factory in Gujarat that makes ammonia using green hydrogen produced with renewable electricity.

The plant would need 2–3 gigawatts of solar and wind power and could produce at least 500,000 tonnes of ammonia a year.

GSFC is looking for a partner to provide investment, technology and renewable energy expertise.

Most of the ammonia is planned for sale, including to markets in Europe, Japan and South Korea, while some would be used in GSFC’s fertiliser operations.
