‘Sheriff Country’ Season 2 begins with Boone hiding Mickey’s confession

Mickey is dealing with the shock of learning that Eva is her birth mother, along with a betrayal by her father and a threat to Edgewater.

While drunk, she tells Boone she made the wrong choice.

Boone hides his reaction because he thinks Mickey needs support more than a response to her confession.

The showrunner says that choice will have emotional and physical costs for Boone.
