Anti-migrant violence erupts in Durban and Soweto
Protests against migrants turned violent in two South African cities.
Police said 24 vehicles were torched, and shops were attacked.
The unrest followed a court ruling that lets asylum seekers apply for refugee status, but does not guarantee they will receive it.
The violence adds to a long history of attacks on foreign nationals in South Africa.
