WA Gold identifies nine exploration targets at Bullabulling
WA Gold identified nine geophysical anomalies at its Bullabulling project in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields.
The targets cover more than 4km across two geological corridors, about 30km west of Coolgardie.
The survey targets coincide with or extend from earlier gold signals, which came from shallow reconnaissance drilling.
That initial program drilled 41 holes and found a gold-anomalous trend along one corridor, including a result of 4 metres at 0.25 grams of gold per tonne.
The company says the new targets give it more places to search for a potential gold deposit, but the survey results do not establish a discovery.
Bullabulling is next to Minerals 260’s gold project, which had a July 2026 resource estimate of 6.2 million ounces.
WA Gold will rank the targets and combine the survey data with drilling and geochemical results before deeper drilling.
WA Gold identified nine geophysical anomalies spanning more than 4km of combined strike at its Bullabulling project in Western Australia.
The targets were identified through a high-resolution sub-audio magnetic survey and lie along two prospective structural corridors.
Some anomalies coincide with or extend along strike from gold anomalism found in earlier drilling.
The company plans to combine the survey results with drilling and geochemical data to select targets for deeper reverse-circulation drilling.
Bullabulling is about 30km west of Coolgardie and adjacent to Minerals 260’s Bullabulling gold project.
- Who
- WA Gold identified the targets at its wholly owned Bullabulling project.
- What
- A survey identified nine geophysical anomalies spanning more than 4km of combined strike. The company plans to assess them for deeper drilling.
- When
- The results were reported on 13 October 2026.
- Where
- The Bullabulling project in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields, around 30km west of Coolgardie.
- Why
- The anomalies give WA Gold targets to investigate in its search for a new gold deposit.
This story does not have two clearly opposing sides.
WA Gold drilled 41 reverse-circulation holes for 1,897m and identified gold anomalism across both priority areas.
Minerals 260’s Bullabulling gold project had a resource estimate of 6.2 million ounces of gold.
WA Gold reported nine geophysical anomalies identified by a sub-audio magnetic survey.

What people are saying
This SAM survey has delivered exactly what we were looking for. We now have nine compelling anomalies, totalling more than 4km of strike, sitting on the same structures where our reconnaissance drilling returned encouraging gold anomalism.
Having over 4km of strike to work with in our next round of drilling gives us multiple shots at discovery, and we believe it materially improves our chances of finding a new gold deposit at Bullabulling. We are now ranking the targets and look forward to getting the rig back on the ground.
