Turkish authorities fine electronics service firm 1.52 million lira

Turkish authorities fined an electronics service company 1,524,540 lira after complaints about it rose in 2026.

The company operates in the electronics repair and service sector, and the case is being handled by the trade directorate in Bursa, Turkey.

The complaints prompted inspections and an investigation into the firm.

Officials are reviewing six further complaints received on October 6 through Turkey’s CİMER public complaint system.

Inspections were carried out for two of those complaints, and officials requested information and documents from the company.

For the other four, complainants were told that they need to provide missing documents.

The fine is an administrative penalty, and officials say they apply such penalties when they find violations of regulations.

Inspections will continue to protect consumers and prevent unlawful practices.
