Dodgers and Brewers meet in National League Championship Series

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers are playing in the National League Championship Series, which will decide which team advances to the World Series.

The Brewers had the best regular-season record in Major League Baseball, at 103 wins and 59 losses.

The Dodgers went 100-62 and won the National League West.

The series begins in Milwaukee on October 11 and can last up to seven games, with later games scheduled in Los Angeles and Milwaukee.

Dodgers pitcher Tarik Skubal is set to start Game 1, while the team will also rely on a rotation that includes Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Blake Snell and Tyler Glasnow.

Shohei Ohtani is not pitching this postseason and will need to contribute as a hitter, after going 2-for-13 in the previous playoff round.

The winner will earn a place in the World Series.
