Brazil Senate leader says 6x1 work schedule proposal is on next week's agenda

The proposal would end a work pattern known as 6x1.

Senate President Davi Alcolumbre said it is on the agenda for October 13 to 15, and Senator Cleitinho said a vote is expected Wednesday.

But Senate rules require several discussion sessions and votes in two rounds.

So the schedule does not guarantee the proposal will pass quickly.
