Saskatoon removes encampment where 120 people had been staying

Saskatoon removed an encampment on city-owned land at 20th Street and Avenue K South.

The city said 120 people left and 80 tents were removed.

Outreach workers say some people have since sought shelter, while others need help with housing, food and warm clothing.

Their needs are especially pressing as the weather gets colder.
