Ontario to start removing bike lanes on Toronto’s Bloor Street next week

Ontario plans to start removing protected bike lanes on Bloor Street West next week.

The province says it will restore space for vehicle traffic.

The plan follows an Ontario Court of Appeal ruling that overturned a decision blocking the removals.

The province says it will also consider ways to keep or change bike lanes where they do not worsen gridlock.
