Central Java sends 34 athletes to Asian Para Games in Nagoya
Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi has sent off 34 para-athletes and 16 coaches and officials from the province for the Asian Para Games.
The event will be held in Nagoya, Japan, from October 19 to 24, 2026.
The 50 people from Central Java are part of Indonesia’s 219-person delegation.
The athletes will compete in nine sports, including athletics, badminton, swimming and table tennis.
Central Java’s sports association says the athletes have trained in preparation for the competition.
