Conservative MP calls Canada's foreign influence registry 'in shambles'

Canada's foreign influence registry is meant to list people and groups paid or otherwise benefiting to influence government on behalf of foreign governments.

So far, it has two public entries, while 30 others submitted paperwork before a deadline.

The commissioner also reported two privacy breaches and technical problems.

Conservative MP Michael Cooper wants the public safety minister to explain the problems to a parliamentary committee.
