Cardinals move to trade Marvin Harrison Jr. after three NFL seasons

The Arizona Cardinals are finalizing a trade of wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., the fourth pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

The team is seeking a second-round pick or better, and Harrison was told he would not play against the Detroit Lions on Sunday while the deal is completed.

Harrison had 885 receiving yards as a rookie, then 608 yards in 12 games last season.

In four games this season, he has five catches for 85 yards.

Across 33 NFL games, he has 1,578 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns.

His big plays and touchdown total offer some promise, but his catch rate and yards after the catch have been low, and he has been targeted less often this season.

The trade would give another team a chance to get more consistent production from him.
