Vox asks Spain’s Supreme Court to reactivate Puigdemont arrest warrant

Vox wants the Supreme Court to restore arrest warrants for Carles Puigdemont and two former Catalan officials.

A judge had lifted the warrants after Spain’s Constitutional Court backed applying an amnesty to embezzlement.

Vox argues the three men have not appeared in court and that the amnesty’s application to their case has not been decided.

The appeal asks the court to keep the warrants in place while these issues are unresolved.
