São Paulo prosecutors close investigation into Ypê product suspension

Prosecutors in São Paulo have closed their investigation into Ypê cleaning products that were suspended by Brazil’s health regulator.

They said the regulator responded effectively and that no concrete harm to consumers was proven.

The company voluntarily recalled some products, offered refunds or exchanges, and presented a plan to improve quality.

The regulator had earlier cited production problems that could pose a safety risk.
