Novak says Russia supplied the EU with $320.7 billion in energy since 2022

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak says Russia has supplied the European Union with energy worth $320.7 billion since 2022.

He said the total includes $21.3 billion in supplies during the first nine months of 2026.

Novak said Russian energy continues to reach Europe through routes covered by exceptions to sanctions, and that Russia is meeting its contracts.

His figure is higher than a $250 billion estimate previously cited by the United States.

Novak also said Russia could send more diesel to global markets, including the United States, amid problems around the Strait of Hormuz and reduced refining capacity.

He said extra Russian supplies were helping ease pressure on diesel prices, which had fallen by about 5% to 6%.

The figures and market assessment are Novak’s statements; no further action or timeline was given.
