BRI Agent Brings Banking Services to Villages in South Lampung
Evi Susanti has run a BRILink agent outlet in Natar district, South Lampung, since 2018.

Evi learned how to use the transaction equipment and explain the services, then began helping residents understand banking and saving.
Her outlet serves people from Rejosari and Negara Ratu villages, who use it to withdraw social assistance, pay bills and collect plantation workers’ wages.
Evi says she handles more than 2,200 transactions a month, with the number doubling during social assistance payment periods.
The business has helped her open another branch and support her family, while giving residents nearby access to financial services.
BRI says it will continue encouraging agents to grow alongside their communities.

After I resigned, I did not yet know what business I would run. Then a BRI employee came and offered me the chance to become a BRILink Agent. From there, I began learning and received guidance to run this business. They have even become like friends. Whenever I need any help, the BRI Mantri responds quickly and always helps.
Some people are willing to wait for me to open rather than go somewhere else. That makes me proud. Other places are already open, but they choose to wait because they are comfortable with the service here.
We encourage our BRILink Agents to grow together with the community. On one hand, people can access banking services more easily and better understand various financial services. On the other, agents have opportunities to develop their businesses and improve their families’ economic conditions.
