Takara Tomy opens pre-orders for six-part Optimus Prime figure set

Takara Tomy has opened pre-orders for an exclusive Transformers figure set called WKS-05 Optimus Link Prime.

The set includes Optimus Prime in his Energy Master form from the animated series Transformers Wild King, along with five smaller Energy Beasts.

Each beast can change between animal and robot forms and turn into a part that combines with Optimus Prime.

The set is made to order and costs 19,800 yen, about US$125.

Pre-orders are available through the Takara Tomy Mall online store until Nov.

11, and delivery is expected in March 2027.

In Wild King, Optimus follows Megatron to the planet Elementros and becomes an Energy Master, gaining the ability to use elemental power.

The new figure brings that form to collectors as Transformers Wild King continues into its follow-up series, Transformers: Wild King W.
