iOS 27.2 beta changes Apple Music icon and removes Health redesign
Apple’s fourth developer beta of iOS 27.2 changes the Apple Music icon to a black-and-white design.
The update is being tested by developers, and it is not yet clear whether the new icon will appear in the public release.
The beta also removes the redesigned Apple Health app that appeared in earlier test versions.
The redesign included AI-powered summaries and suggestions, as well as changes to the app’s layout.
A message in the beta says the overhaul is coming later this year, while health data remains available through the Settings app.
The update also adds a HomePod setting that can disable touch controls, but the final release may not include every feature currently being tested.
The fourth developer beta of iOS 27.2 replaces Apple Music’s red-and-white icon with a black-and-white design.
The beta also changes Music app accents and widgets, using blue for the active tab and black backgrounds for widgets.
The redesigned Apple Health app, present in earlier beta builds, is missing from beta 4.
A message in the beta says the Health redesign is “coming later this year.”
