Ben Affleck calls Justice League reshoots the lowest point of his career

Ben Affleck says making Justice League was the lowest point of his career.

The 2017 film brought together several major DC heroes, including Batman, played by Affleck.

After Batman v Superman disappointed, Warner Bros.

wanted Justice League to have a lighter tone and appeal to more viewers.

Director Zack Snyder left during post-production after his daughter died by suicide, and Joss Whedon took over reshoots.

Affleck said the conflict between the studio and Snyder showed how not to make a film.

He also said he heard second-hand about other cast members’ experiences on set, including those of Ray Fisher and Gal Gadot.

Affleck later stepped away from Batman and did not direct the standalone Batman film he had been developing.

I was really glad and gratified that Zack got to release — and he did it in a really canny way, manipulated his way into getting his thing released, which was f–king great, and I was really happy for him.
