RX-81 G-Line Assault Armor Gets Its First High Grade Model Kit
Bandai has unveiled the first 1/144-scale High Grade model kit of the RX-81 G-Line Assault Armor.
The mecha first appeared in the 2009 PlayStation 3 game Mobile Suit Gundam Battlefield Record U.C. 0081.
The kit was displayed at the 64th All Japan Model & Hobby Show in Tokyo from Oct.
2 to 4.
Designed for close combat, the unit has heavy armor, a javelin and thrusters to help it move quickly.
It is part of the RX-81 platform, which was built to support different armor, weapons and equipment configurations.
The kit will cost 3,850 yen and be sold through Premium Bandai, but Bandai has not announced its release date or further specifications.
