Browns elevate Sam Kamara and Chris Williams for Jets game

The Cleveland Browns elevated defensive tackles Sam Kamara and Chris Williams from their practice squad for Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.

The team needs extra depth at defensive tackle because Mason Graham and Mike Hall Jr. are ruled out.

Kamara is in his fourth NFL season and has played 26 career games, including 18 for Cleveland since 2022.

He joined the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Chicago Bears in 2021.

Williams is in his fifth NFL season and has played 44 career games for the Indianapolis Colts and Bears.

He entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Colts in 2020.

The elevations give Cleveland added options at the position for the game.
