‘Sheriff Country’ Season 2 Premiere Draws Criticism for Plot Gaps

The new season begins a few days after the first season finale.

Sheriff Mickey Fox is struggling with the discovery that DEA official Eva Santos is her mother.

The premiere explains that Eva went undercover, fell in love with Mickey’s father and later returned to work for the DEA.

A review argues that this backstory still does not make sense, raising questions about the show’s plot.
