Russia-aligned group upgrades malware targeting Ukrainian organizations

MatchBoil is malware that can install other harmful software on a victim’s computer.

ESET says the group UAC-0099 has made it harder to detect and inspect since 2024.

The malware has been used against Ukrainian organizations in several sectors, including energy.
