Saudi Falconry and Hunting Exhibition draws 765,000 visitors

The Saudi Falconry and Hunting Exhibition has ended after 10 days in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

It drew 765,000 visitors and included 1,450 exhibitors and brands from 47 countries, as well as 44 government bodies.

The event brought together falconry and hunting with cultural activities, outdoor experiences and displays.

Competitions included six days of falcon racing, with prizes totaling 723,000 riyals.

At an auction of Mongolian falcons, one bird sold for 1.4 million riyals, a record for that auction.

The National Center for Falcons says it will begin preparing for the 2027 exhibition, with a focus on improving the experience for visitors and exhibitors.

A local falcon auction continues until November 30, and the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival is scheduled for November 17 to 30.
