Pazolini meets leaders allied with rival in Espírito Santo runoff

Lorenzo Pazolini is seeking to become governor of Espírito Santo for the Republicanos party.

He met leaders of two parties whose members back his runoff opponent, Ricardo Ferraço.

The meeting comes as Pazolini tries to broaden his support, but neither leader said they had switched sides.

Pazolini led the first round with 49.65% of valid votes, compared with Ferraço’s 34.06%.
