Verstappen’s car passes FIA checks after Singapore Grand Prix win

Max Verstappen won the Singapore Grand Prix in Singapore, after also winning Saturday’s sprint.

The two wins gave him the maximum 33 points available over the weekend.

After the race, the FIA inspected bodywork or aerodynamic parts on Verstappen’s Red Bull, as well as cars driven by George Russell and Pierre Gasly.

All three cars were found to be within the FIA’s rules.

The FIA also analysed race-start data from Verstappen and six other drivers: Russell, Carlos Sainz, Liam Lawson, Ollie Bearman and Sergio Perez.

The source gives no findings from that data analysis.

Earlier in the weekend, stewards investigated Verstappen for overtaking Lewis Hamilton in a yellow-flag sector during sprint qualifying, but took no further action.
