Lachlan Morton passes halfway on 3,164km Pony Express ride

Lachlan Morton is riding about 3,164 kilometres from Missouri to California.

He is following the route used by Pony Express mail carriers in the early 1860s.

Morton passed the halfway point in remote parts of Wyoming.

The challenge retraces a historic route, but by bicycle instead of horseback.
