PNV dispute in Bizkaia gives EH Bildu an opening

The PNV is divided over who should lead Bizkaia’s provincial government.

Iñigo Ansola proposed Ibone Bengoetxea instead of the current leader, Elixabete Etxanobe.

PNV members will decide whether to accept the proposal or choose another candidate.

EH Bildu says the dispute could make the coming election especially competitive.
