Spain voter roll reaches 38.73 million ahead of November 29 election

Spain has 38.73 million registered voters for the November 29 general election, 1.26 million more than in 2023.

More than 1.6 million people can vote for the first time.

About 2.77 million registered voters live abroad.

A court has temporarily suspended voting rights for some people who became Spanish citizens under a law for descendants, and the suspension is still being reviewed.
