First US-built Tamir interceptor delivered to Israel

Tamir interceptors are used by Israel’s Iron Dome air and missile defense system.

A factory in Arkansas has delivered the first one made entirely in the United States to Israel.

The new production line gives the two countries another place to make the interceptors.

Iron Dome has recorded more than 10,000 operational interceptions over 15 years.
