Singapore court orders company to return home after rent went unpaid
A Singapore judge found that American Anthony Thomas Price used a company called Noranth Ventures to rent a semi-detached home in Kembangan, where he and his family lived.
The landlords, a couple in their 80s, received the first month’s rent, but later rent was not paid.
The judge rejected the company’s lawsuit to stop the landlords taking back the property and allowed the couple’s counterclaim.

The tenancy agreement set rent at S$7,500 a month and allowed the landlords to reclaim the home if its terms were breached.
The judge also found that Price had used shell companies to rent two other homes between 2019 and 2024.

What people are saying
worthless words and a roundabout way to say that Mr Price and the claimant (Noranth Ventures) have no intention of paying any rent
If at all, they reflect an attempt to raise spurious reasons not to pay rent
