13-year-old charged with murder after man stabbed in Sydney’s west
A man in his 30s died after being stabbed in Mount Druitt, in Sydney’s west, on Friday evening.
Paramedics treated him at the scene, but he died there.
Police arrested a 13-year-old boy on Sunday and charged him with murder, breach of bail and an unrelated robbery offence.
A 16-year-old boy was also arrested and charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder.
Both boys were refused bail and were due to appear in a children’s court on Monday.
Police said they were investigating whether the stabbing was random or targeted and asked anyone with information or relevant footage to come forward.
The victim had not been formally identified.
