Steve Maclin says he wrestled Adam Copeland with a broken leg

Steve Maclin says he broke his fibula, a bone in his lower leg, in July during a wrestling move at an independent show in Windsor, Ontario.

The injury happened about 10 weeks before his planned match with Adam Copeland at Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling’s Northern Rising event.

Maclin said he feared the injury would cost him what he called the biggest opportunity of his career.

He wrestled twice for Maple Leaf Pro with the broken leg before facing Copeland.

Maclin said Copeland’s return from a broken neck inspired him to come back from his own injury.

Their match was a street fight that lasted more than half an hour.

Copeland defeated Maclin.

If Adam Copeland can come back from a broken neck in 10 years, what is stopping me from coming back from a broken leg in 10 weeks?
