Movistar Plus Plans to Double Its Spanish Original Series Output

Movistar Plus plans to make twice as many original Spanish series each year.

It is also trying to attract younger viewers, including with comedy.

Some new shows are made with other companies.

The strategy matters because original programmes can help the service attract customers and reach viewers abroad.
