Fisheries department officials and Marine Police seized a Tamil Nadu fishing boat off the Krishnapatnam coast on Sunday.
The boat, registered as IND-TN-02-2485, was intercepted around 1 pm about 6 km from Krishnapatnam Port.
Seven Tamil Nadu fishermen were on board when the boat was intercepted.
The boat was brought to Juvvaladinne Fishing Harbour and handed to the Isukapalli SHO for custody and legal action.
Officials said it was the eighth boat seized since June 31, 2026, with seven earlier boats from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry also caught fishing in Andhra Pradesh waters.
