Delhi Police Arrest Man, Seize 1,050 Illicit Liquor Quarters
Delhi Police said they stopped a car in Bhati Mines after receiving information about illegal liquor deliveries.
The driver allegedly tried to escape when police signalled him to stop.
Officers caught him and identified him as 25-year-old Ajay.
They found 21 cartons containing 1,050 small bottles of illicit liquor in the car.
Police said Ajay brought the liquor from Gawal Pahari in Haryana.
He allegedly planned to deliver it to a person known as Sansi.
The deliveries were reportedly meant for areas in Sanjay Colony and Rajpur Khurd.
Police registered a case and are investigating other people connected to the supply network.
