Police arrested a gym owner after a car hit a woman riding a motorcycle in Gurugram.

The woman, Shivani Chauhan, said the driver had made rude comments and intentionally hit her.

A video showed a car moving into her motorcycle from behind.

Police reviewed videos and CCTV footage before adding serious charges.

The charges include attempted murder, stalking and acts against a woman’s modesty.

The driver’s lawyer said the crash was an accident.

His lawyer also said he left because he was afraid of a crowd.

Police arrested the driver, his cousin and another person linked to his escape.

A court will consider the case as the investigation continues.
