Bihar government evacuates 100 Maharashtra pilgrims stranded in flood-hit Nepal
About 100 people from Maharashtra were visiting Nepal when flash floods left them stranded.
The Maharashtra government asked Bihar to help them.
Bihar officials brought the pilgrims from the Nepal border to Sitamarhi.
They were later taken to Patna early Saturday morning.
Officials gave them food, water, medical check-ups and a place to rest.
Extra train coaches were added so everyone could travel together.
The pilgrims left Patna for Maharashtra by train at about 7:30 a.m.
