Nepal Tunnel Worker Rescued After Nine Days Chanting Hare Krishna
Sanjay Sah was working inside a tunnel at Nepal’s Trishuli 3A hydropower project when an accident happened.
He could not escape and remained trapped for nine days.
During that time, he said he chanted “Hare Krishna” and hoped rescuers would find him.
Sah was eventually brought out safely.

Sah was reported to be in stable condition and taken to a local hospital.
Maharjan needed more medical care and was flown to a hospital in Kathmandu.
