18th-Century Inscription Names Tukkuguda Hill Venkatapati Konda
Researchers found an old Telugu inscription at a temple in Tukkuguda.
It says the hill was called Venkatapati Konda and the deity was called Tirupati Prasanna Venkatadri.
The inscription dates to February 4, 1762.
