The Telangana government has sanctioned Rs 250 crore for developing Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Temple in Vemulawada.
The temple precinct is planned to expand to nearly seven acres.
A new prakaram will use approximately 4.80 lakh cubic feet of stone.
Proposals include new rajagopurams, an Aniviti mandapam, renovated Dharmagundam and upgraded facilities.
Permanent queue lines and improved arrangements for pilgrims, Kode Mokku and abhishekam are planned.
