Rishabh Pant Becomes First Indian to Reach 100 Test Sixes

Cricket is a game where players hit a ball with a bat, and Test matches last for several days.

Rishabh Pant is a very strong batter who plays for India's cricket team.

On the fourth day of India's Test match against Sri Lanka in Galle, Pant was trying to score runs quickly so Sri Lanka would have a very hard target to chase.

Pant hit a gigantic six that soared over the field and out of the stadium, appearing to land near buses parked on a road outside.

Because the ball was gone, the umpires had to replace it with a new one.

Later, Pant hit another six off the same bowler, Lahiru Kumara.

That shot was his 100th six in Test cricket, making him the first Indian player ever to reach that number.

He is also the fastest player in the world to reach 100 Test sixes.

Only three other players in cricket history have ever hit 100 sixes in Test matches.
