Pantomathics-2026 Goes National; Cambridge Court High School Wins
Pantomathics is a big quiz competition for school students in India.
It was started by St Kabir Public School in Chandigarh.
This year, for the first time, it became a national championship.
Hundreds of schools took part — 1,229 teams of two students from 486 schools across India.
After online rounds, the best 16 teams came to Chandigarh for the Grand Finale on August 6 and 7.
A team from Cambridge Court High School in Jaipur won the trophy.
The winning students were Medhansh Vaddadi and Atharv Gauttam.
The quiz asked questions about science, history, sports, books, art and many other subjects.
The finals were hosted by famous quizmaster Venkatesh Srinivasan, who is known for big TV shows like Kaun Banega Crorepati.
Teachers also got to play a special written quiz of their own.
Pantomathics, the inter-school quiz championship of St Kabir Public School, Chandigarh, held its first All India Edition six years after its inception.
A total of 1,229 two-member teams from 486 schools across India participated, with the top 16 teams reaching the Grand Finale in Chandigarh on August 6–7.
Cambridge Court High School, Jaipur, won the title; Satish Chandra Memorial School, Chakdaha, West Bengal, and St Anthony's Sr. Sec. School, Udaipur, were the first and second runners-up.
The quiz covered Current Affairs, Science, Technology, History, Geography, Sports, Literature, Entertainment, Arts and General Knowledge.
Renowned quizmaster Venkatesh (Venky) Srinivasan, co-founder of Nexus Consulting, conducted the semi-finals and Grand Finale, and the 2026 edition featured a Teachers' Invitational Written Quiz.
