DDA workers and people from local communities are taking part.

Children are encouraged to learn how to care for parks and nature.

Workers are also checking bins so they can be emptied before they overflow.

Cleaning has taken place at sports complexes and other public-use areas.

About 2.5 tonnes of waste was collected at the sports complexes.

The campaign also added water dispensers, bins for separating wet and dry waste, and signs asking people not to litter.
